Link Building commonly referred to as ‘Off-page Optimisation’ is by far the most effective SEO strategy for competitive keywords. Link Building consists of placing ‘Back links’ i.e. links that link back to your website – around the world wide web. The more of these back links and the quality of them is regarded highly by search engines and as a consequence it is possible to rank highly for competitive search terms as long as your site has enough back links.

Sometimes we are asked “How can my site out rank a more established site with many thousands of backlinks?” Well the answer is down to the quality and relevance of the links. Sometimes websites can have a high Page Rank but can be out ranked by lesser websites simply because the lesser website links relate exactly to that keyword or search term.
